I did more work on this Christmas tree wall hanging. It is a pattern called A little bit shorter tall tree by Cindi Edgerton. It is done by foundation piecing and I found it really addictive to do.
Last night I started to sandwich it and cut the binding to go on once quilted. I hoped to get a bit further but we had a Skype call and I couldn't do quite as much. I look forward to seeing what everyone else has done.
Happy stitching,
Sue
That is a great tree, love the colours you have used, I like foundation piecing once I have my head around working backwards!!
ReplyDeleteForgot to say the rose on your header is beautiful.

Very cute! What a fun project.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Linda.
DeleteYour tree turned out beautifully. I especially like the star! I made the tree a few years ago but no star....
ReplyDeleteThe pattern didn't have a star but I saw a finished tree on Pinterest and it had one so I stitched one on my embroidery machine to add. It has paper pieced ornaments but I didn't get to them this year either. :-)
DeleteThe tree is a real beauty..it's got me remembering I have one of her patterns to get to one day!
